Jim Marchese is making a name for himself as the ‘Most Hated’ person on Real Housewives Of New Jersey. And that’s quite a feat on a show that stars Teresa Giudice (and her indictment).
Of course Jim seems to court the publicity and love the controversy. Jim and his wife Amber Marchese, who are at the center of nearly every controversy this season, give their feedback on the show – and warns all us devoted and adoring viewers that not only does he make the show, but the Florida episode, which begins tonight, is out of control!
Jim shares [sarcastically] that the amazing amount of love he receives is the best part of being on TV. While Amber takes a more somber approach about the difficulties of being on RHONJ “I guess it didn’t sink in how much drama it would really be. How much fighting, and arguing,” she admits. “I guess you get girls together, and we’re around each other all the time, it’s gonna happen, but it didn’t sink in.”

As for viewer reaction to Jim, Amber reiterates again that she feels bad. “I think my husband’s getting more negative feedback than I am. I think I’m more 50/50. I knew, going in, I kind of knew I would be 50/50. People are going to love me, or they’re going to hate me. Whereas my husband, I think he’s a little more polarizing.” Jim, however, loves the mayhem he evokes. “I think it’s a lot of fun, and I just like to tease the fans and hey, I have a job this year and I’m doing it,” he brags.
Now onto that job, which Jim to his credit is doing amazingly well – he is creating some crazy drama TV! Especially in Florida. While Amber doesn’t want to give too much away, she admits it gets heated. “It’s going to be a really amazing episode, but my husband’s actually a part of that,” Amber hints to Wetpaint. “The twins and him went at it pretty hard. Luckily, I have nothing to do with it!”
Jim adds, “The viewers will have a lot of fun with Florida. I got to set the record straight with Bobby and Rino, who weren’t even — how do they say it? — man enough to show up half the time.” Speaking of the twins, Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea, there is no love lost between them and the Marcheses. The twins actually blame Jim for exposing the Victoria Gotti rumor – and their mom Santa has threatened to sue him.
In other news, tonight is Jacqueline Laurita‘s much anticipated return! Amber and Jim both share that they get along with the Lauritas. Chris Laurita “reminds me a lot of myself. He’s a little bit more soft-spoken, doesn’t need to be the center,” Jim remarked. “I mean we can have a beer and just hang out and don’t have to worry who is the star or who’s a fake fireman.”
