As soon as I found out Million Dollar Listing LA newbies James Harris and David Parnes were friends with Josh Flagg and could not stand Josh Altman, I welcomed them with open arms. Yes, I miss Madison Hildebrand and Malibu terribly, but I don’t mind James or David. I thoroughly enjoy watching them get under Josh Altman‘s skin.
On last night‘s show, James and David brought a client to Josh Altman‘s open house. Josh went out of his way to take little digs at his co-stars, and David did not hesitate to return the favor. Later, Josh pulled James aside and warned him, “You are the likable one. I think that guy’s [David] holding you down. You’d probably be better off by yourself.”

James took to his blog to celebrate his deal and share his opinion on Josh.
“Doheny is a one-of-a-kind home in one of the hottest areas – we felt confident in its value,” James said about their $5.2 million deal. “Our knowledge of the industry and unwavering negotiation tactics secured a great profit for our client while also satisfying the buyer.”
“Of course the whole episode wasn’t all smooth sailing… especially with Altman in the picture. Watching the episode again, I still can’t believe Altman’s behavior. I stand behind my assessment that he lacks sophistication and class in many instances. I found it extremely unprofessional for him to corner me about my own business partner behind his back.”
“However, as you saw, Altman’s aggressive attitude and attempt to intimidate only drives me and David to work harder to elevate our real estate game,” said James. “It will make for an interesting situation should we have to do a deal with him in the near future. Bring it on!”
I think Josh Altman was out of line. Now, I wouldn’t have a problem with Josh Flagg approaching James with worries about David (or vice versa), because he is friends with them and would only do so out of genuine concern. Altman, not so much. It came across as petty.
