Shortly after production began on Kendra on Top season 3, Hank Baskett was accused of cheating on Kendra Wilkinson while she was pregnant with their second child. Devastating, but the show must go on, right?
Kendra sat down with HuffPost Live to promote the new season. Last week’s season 3 premiere focused on the birth of their baby and the cheating scandal. Kendra also talked about the current status of her marriage and defended her decision to share her marriage troubles with the cameras.

When asked how she’s holding up, Kendra said, “It’s been four months. It’s still raw. I’m still dealing with it. I’m still trying to piece things together. I feel like I’m in this fog. I’m in a dream I’m trying to wake up from.”
Kendra admitted she believed everything the tabloids reported, initially, but now she cannot help but to question the fact that there’s zero proof. “They claim that there’s a polygraph out there, they claim that there’s proof out there that my husband cheated on me. But as time went on, four months later, if you really look at it, there really is no proof.”
What’s the status of Kendra and Hank‘s marriage? “We’re talking. I wouldn’t say we’re back together. We’re still married, cause we’re not divorced. But we’re at a place where we can talk right now, not about everything, but we’re talking and we’re parenting. Our number one priority is making sure these two kids are raised with two parents, and we want to give them a great life.”
Kendra added, “It’s not right to throw kids in the middle of anything. It’s gross. The one thing I do know is that Hank is an amazing father. He’s still the father and they love him. My son, that’s his idol. He’s an amazing person.”
When asked why she decided to film her ordeal, Kendra said, “In my situation, in my life, I’m doing what’s best for my life, my kids’ life. This is what I’ve been doing for ten years. This has been my life. I’ve gone through all my biggest moments on camera, why stop now? That would be giving up in my eyes.”
Kendra went on to say that the plan for this season of Kendra on Top included giving birth, raising two kids, getting fit, and going to Australia as a family. “It all went away. Trust me, I do not want to be living this way but it’s just the way it is. It’s called life. It’s my choice to film it, and it actually does help me for some strange reason. It really does. It helps.”
Where do Kendra and Hank stand today? “At the end of the day, I don’t want to be a stupid girl. I don’t want to be stupid, but I know Hank loves me. At the end of the day, I have to take things one step at a time and really figure things out.”
Season 3 kicked off last week – and the premiere focused on both the cheating scandal and the birth of the baby. Considering cheating seems to be the go-to reality TV show story line for ratings these days, I could not help but to scrutinize the “performances” throughout the hour.
I believed Kendra‘s angst and pain when she talked to her friend, Jessica Hall, face-to-face, but I did not believe her when she spoke to Hank on the phone. The phone scenes sounded forced and scripted in my opinion. Maybe they were reshot for the cameras? So I’m torn.
Are we being punked by Kendra and Hank? I honestly don’t know, but what I do know is that only 694,000 viewers watched the heavily promoted premiere. That hardly seems worth it to me. Especially with kids involved.
