Days after Teresa Giudice was sentenced to federal prison, Real Housewives Of New Jersey went ahead with the reunion filming. Among the many rumors circulating is that Teresa was hours late, annoyed her co-stars, and repeatedly stopped filming to cry. Andy Cohen denied all that – and he’s also giving more details about what went on!
“The reunion show was really intense,” the WWHL host admitted, but reminded us that all Real Housewives reunions are! “It was a typical reunion show, which means it was really dramatic, emotional, intense,” Andy clarified to Extra. “Obviously there was an undercurrent of something incredibly serious that’d just happened with Teresa, but we all got through it.”

Andy did confirm reports that Teresa and Joe Giudice arrived separately, but said it was on Bravo’s orders. “It was because we needed her first thing and didn’t need him for a few hours, so they did arrive separately, but they left together.” Andy is adamant that Teresa was a total professional during the taping.
Giving more details about the day, Mr. Housewife tells RumorFix that it was an arduous and exhausting taping. “It was a 16 hour day. The reunion was extremely somber overall,” he shares. “This was due to the fact that Teresa and Joe had just been sentenced last Thursday and everyone was trying to be sensitive to that.”
“Melissa [Gorga] sat next to Teresa the entire time,” the source elaborates. “Rumors floating around social media to the contrary and rumors suggesting they were fighting simply aren’t true.”
So if it wasn’t Teresa causing drama at the reunion, who was it? Why shockingly it was Dina Manzo! Apparently drama filled reality shows don’t mix well with potent proclamations of zen. “One or two people went at Dina and every time someone went at her, she completely shut down,” the source reveals. “She cried multiple times throughout the day and was not happy to have to be on the defense.”
Ashlee Holmes claims Dina demanded she be removed from the set (she was present to do Kathy Wakile‘s makeup) but we’ve heard rumors to the contrary stating that Ashlee was talking about Dina on-set the entire time and threatening to cause a confrontation or come out on stage, when Dina requested she leave and threatened to slap her with a hairless cat wearing a weave. I wonder if Dina used the all-classic Housewife walk off set tactic?! Let’s hope!
Dina knew, of course, that Jacqueline Laurita was originally supposed to be at the reunion, but due to the last-minute rescheduling Jacqueline had a scheduling conflict of sipping on zen and juice while tweeting.
The source adds, however, that despite the tension there were “definitely moments of comedy.” And as for how RHONJ plans to handle Teresa’s imprisonment or what she hopes will happen, that was not discussed.
Tonight Teresa and Joe continue with their delusional WWHL sit-down. Andy will discuss Joe’s drinking problem and ask Teresa about her attorney’s claim to the court that RHONJ is fake.
