Vanderpump Rules has defiantly had its share of intense drama – and that’s not about to change anytime soon! This season Lisa Vanderpump promises that things change dramatically at SUR with the addition of some new characters – and that may not be a good thing!
“It feels different this season. A couple of characters come to the forefront that you don’t know so well and we see one relationship struggle in particular,” Lisa explains.
Branching out from the central characters, Kristen Doute has a new much-younger boyfriend James, while Tom Sandoval (Tom 1) is happy in love with Ariana Madix, who joins as a full-time cast member this season. Stassi Schroeder‘s new boyfriend Patrick is also added into the mix. Plus add Jax Taylor’s love triangle adds new girlfriend Carmen Dickman to the group as well!

“I’m not proud of their behavior, but I’m proud of the show,” Lisa explains.
Lisa promises it’s not all dark, however and there are some truly fun and lovely moments. “I love the fact that Scheana [Marie] got married and there were beautiful moments,” Lisa says.
Meanwhile Scheana Marie seconds that there are both good and bad moments this season, but she is glad her wedding was included in the show despite the drama. “After getting engaged on the show, my husband Michael and I felt that we needed to share the wedding with fans as well. It was such a beautiful day and special moment in our lives,” she told Us Weekly.
“But there was an altercation between two of the guests at my wedding that led to one of my friends being hit in the face,” Scheana adds. Scheana is referring to Kristen, who got hit in the eye during her wedding, which will serve as the season finale. Kristen won’t reveal what happened and who is to blame. I guess every season finale ends with a fight!
