It’s a good thing NeNe Leakes is getting off a sinking ship, because otherwise Kenya Moore might just make her walk the plank! Kenya announced today that she’s taking over and NeNe’s days as Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s “Queen Bee” are done!
Calling season 7 her “redemption season” Kenya assures us that myths will be dispelled and all the rumors of her s0-called horrible ways will trace back to villains with negative agendas!
“This season shows me in a different light. A lot of the lies that were told about me come to light,” Kenya says. “There were a flurry of [lies]: I’ve been called an alcoholic, I’ve been called bi-polar, I’ve been called a man-stealer— there isn’t a name I have not been called on this show. This season just shows a very different side. And really the truth.”
Will the real Kenya Moore please stand up? I mean here we have personality #265 (one for each day of the year), the forgiving, gracious, and sweet-natured church lady who has Jesus on her side to fix it.

Kenya hopes viewers will connect with her in a whole new way because of that. Is that because she’s installed Claudia Jordan to do her dirty work?! I would say yes, because we all know the dastardly and devious Krayonce may submerge her ways, but she can’t stay hidden for long (and we don’t want her too! #VivaLaKrayonce)
Among the many negative things Kenya is no longer focusing on is fighting with Porsha Williams. Kenya says that the charges resuling from Porsha’s assault on last season’s reunion are “still pending” but not because of Kenya – she’s moved on! “Things just happened they way they happened. That was the reunion and that was the past. I can’t drop charges because it’s not me against her. It’s with the state,” Kenya explained to Access Hollywood.
At the core of the issues, Kenya believes she was unfairly treated because the cast was afraid of her! “I was a target to a degree. People saw me as, ‘Oh, we’re going to take her down! She’s coming on this show, she’s trying to take over… Let’s all gang up on her!'” Hmm… I do not see Kenya as a victim, I could be mis-remembering, but I seem to recall her coming in and starting drama from day 1 #CoochieCrack!
Of course, now Kenya says she has taken over! And it’s time for NeNe to move bitch, and get off Kenya’s show! “We have a love-hate relationship. I love her. She hates me,” Kenya laughs. “That’s just how it is.”
Also how it is: time for NeNe to pass the peach. “She was [the Queen bee] and her time is passing,” Kenya quipped. “That’s an issue for her. Honey, it’s a new day.” Well, lucky for Kenya Ms. Leakes is moving on to play the villain on a whole different show!
