Should Real Housewives Of New Jersey Be Canceled?

Andy Cohen future of RHONJ

With Teresa Giudice off to prison in 53 days, many are wondering about the fate of Real Housewives of New Jersey. I personally think RHONJ should “go away” with Teresa. The show, for good.

Teresa‘s absence is the perfect excuse, IMO, to put the show out of its misery.

Andy Cohen recently addressed the issue on Ask Me Anything on Reddit, “We have not made any plans relating to the future of the Jersey Housewives. We’ll go back and meet and talk and re-evaluation soon.”

Whether or not the Real Housewives of New Jersey survives remains to be seen, but one thing seems certain: Andy is not “over” Teresa. He had nothing but nice and apologetic things to say about her.

When asked who’s the easiest housewife to work with, Andy said, “There are many that are easy. I mean, there are a whole lot that are easy to work with, actually. I’d have to say Teresa, for all she’s been through, she has been very professional and easy to work with.”

Andy continued, “What’s happening now with Teresa and Joe was challenging and usual and just – you know – surprising. But I don’t think it’s fair to say that there have been tragedies that have been associated with other people’s pursuit of fame. In other words, Teresa and Joe Giudice are being prosecuted for something that happened before they were even on the show.”

The fact is, they did do it, they were stupid enough to flaunt their fraudulicious lifestyle on TV, and they were rightfully prosecuted. But, even with Joe and Teresa‘s legal issues at the forefront, I think the biggest tragedy of this season was Jim Marchese. If he’s the best bravolebrity wannabe that New Jersey has to offer, game over. NEW CITY, please. STAT.
