Gia Giudice is, unfortunately, about to grow up very fast when her mother Teresa Giudice reports for a 15 month prison sentence in January. And when Teresa returns, Joe Giudice will go “away” for 41 months. That mess aside, Gia’s working hard on her new girl group, 3KT.
“Obviously any news that is hurtful or horrible to hear is so upsetting,” Gia admits. But she is confident they’ll be fine in the end. “My family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this.”
No matter what, the pre-teen who grew-up on Real Housewives Of New Jersey, maintains an optimistic outlook.”When it’s over, we’re gonna be better than ever. It’s gonna be OK,” Gia says.

Gia doesn’t say whether or not her younger 3 sisters know about their parent’s situation, but Teresa said on the reunion and during a sit-down with Andy Cohen that she had not told her daughters she’ll be heading to prison. That was almost 2 months ago, so hopefully that situation has changed.
In the meantime Gia, 13, will be going through Jr high school and also working on her singing career with her new girl group 3KT, who released a new music video in October. Gia and her bandmates just launched a Kickstarter Fund in the hopes of raising money for another music video.
Their first video was a cover of Britney Spears‘ hit Circus (apt considering what’s happening in Gia’s life) and faced backlash over choreography and outfits that were too risqué for teen girls. Gia is undaunted and says her parents support her goals. “We obviously got our parents’ approval,” she told Access Hollywood. “My parents think it’s fun. My mom was there every step of the way. And when my dad saw it, he was like, ‘Nice, Gia.’ – typical, laid-back… ,” she laughs. “I just want to make them proud. That’s all that matters.”
Gia and her bandmates, the oldest of whom is 16, maintain that the outfits weren’t that racy. Uhhhhh… for a 25 year old, maybe!
The girls are hoping a Kickstarter will enable them to raise $7,500 by December 12 to create a Season Of Joy music video. Advertising the project, the group released this message: “3KT loves our fans! We want to give you an awesome original Christmas music video in time for the holiday! We were born to perform and entertain, and we are so lucky to be able to do this in such a big way. We want to empower and inspire other young performers to FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND NEVER GIVE UP.” So far they’ve raised $531 dollars.
Hmmm… well, good luck Gia – with everything. And despite what’s going on she seems in positive spirits. A video of Gia’s appearance on Access Hollywood is below.
