Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back. Yay. And so is Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump‘s friendship. For now. This is Bravo after all. Allegiances are subject to change. That said, both Kyle and Lisa talked about their friendship and the tragedy that is Brandi Glanville in their blogs, and they seem to be on the same page.
“Lisa and I had always been close,” shared Kyle. “In the past couple of years, we have had our moments and a lot of obstacles to work through. However, life is too short, and I wanted to talk it out and be able to start from scratch. I missed the days of us just laughing and having fun. I wanted to get to a strong enough place where we wouldn’t go backwards again or let outside negativity influence our friendship. I think that in order to do that you have to have these conversations. Brushing it under the carpet and just “moving on” is always a temporary solution.”

Lisa said, “Kyle and I have always had a bond and many have tried to sever that, trying to divide and conquer. We have had a multitude of shenanigans and giggles late into the night, always sparring and enjoying each other’s company, but things have sometimes been more complicated and often resulted in many misunderstandings.”
Lisa went to Kyle‘s party in the interest of moving forward even though it meant seeing Brandi and her minions. Speaking of minions, I find it interesting that THE BEVERLY HILLS PARTY OF THE YEAR is able to accommodate so many random rent-a-friends/hair stylists/makeup artists. #EyeRoll
“She had invited us to her White Party, so I accepted, only too well aware that the possibility of encountering Miss Glanville and her minions was rather likely, but never mind,” shared Lisa. “I knew this was an inevitable situation and one I was prepared to deal with, but in the most dismissive way I could, without being offensive. To acknowledge her was all I was willing to offer, really. The relationship with her had been an experience I could never forget and would never comprehend, so to be civil in a group setting was all I could muster.”
Kyle came to the conclusion that Brandi was looking for a fight, attention, a pity party… whatever it is that she is ALWAYS seeking when she’s not busy looking for her pants and/or a place to live.
“Brandi came in and seemed to be uncomfortable and looking for trouble from the get go. She was invited like everyone else and had no reason to feel unwelcome or that the women were mean girls,” insisted Kyle. “Considering everything that has happened, I think everyone was being nice and just trying to enjoy their night.” #Agreed
