There was no shortage of shade and tension on Real Housewives of Atlanta this week. Kenya Moore spent her on-camera time with her Aunt Lori and Claudia Jordan this week, but it didn’t stop her co-stars from talking ish about her. Like a good little bravolebrity, Kenya’s firing back in her RHOA blog.
First, Kenya gave a shout out to her Aunt Lori, “The one constant in my life is that I can count on my Aunt Lori to dispense sound advice. She is always the neutral party, who is often the moral compass of the show. And my take away is forgiveness should not come with conditions, neither should apologies.”

On this week’s episode, Kandi Burruss filled in Phaedra Parks about Apollo Nida‘s confession. You know, the one where he admitted that he’s been LYING about Kenya for TWO YEARS. On camera, Phaedra admitted that she owes Kenya an apology, but she sang a completely different tune in her RHOA blog last week. Will the real Phaedra Parks please stand up?
MY GOOD NAME: Kenya quoted Shakespeare. Again. Between her and Real Housewives of New Jersey scholar Amber Marchese, I can’t with the super serious Real Housewives blogs.
“’Good name in man and woman, dear my lord, is the immediate jewel of their souls. Who steals my purse steals trash. ‘Tis something, nothing: ‘Twas mine, ’tis his, and has been slave to thousands. But he that filches from me my good name robs me of that which not enriches him and makes me poor indeed.’ ~ Written by William Shakespeare.”
“Translation: A good reputation is the most valuable thing we have – men and women alike. If you steal my money, you’re just stealing trash. It’s something, it’s nothing: it’s yours, it’s mine, and it’ll belong to thousands more. But if you trash my reputation, you’re robbing me of something that doesn’t make you richer, but makes me much poor. These women have believed Apollo’s lies for 2 years. They each, inadvertently or not, all have treated me badly. It’s time to acknowledge this, apologize, and move on.”
MY GGF CLAUDIA JORDAN: Kenya shut down any talk about Claudia being her spokesperson. “Claudia is a fun girl who has absolutely no filter. She is a smart girl and a loveable person that always speaks her mind. She’s not a spokesperson – she’s a friend – and I love our energy together. Give her a chance to win you over. I promise you she will.”
BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK: Kenya threw major shade at NeNe Leakes.
“I have been respectfully employed since the age of 14, managing to stay off a pole and out of jail. Therefore, for 20 plus years I have been around the block working. NeNe cannot say the same. I will no longer tolerate the thinly veiled insults aimed at my virtue as a woman. Several seasons ago, NeNe blatantly flirted with Peter and was greatly criticized. However, no one took her seriously because of the way she looks. Clearly, she’s not a threat to anyone’s marriage. Lucky for her.”
WHO IS THE REAL THOT: Is Porsha Williams for real?!? IMO, she’s the last person who should be calling anyone a THOT! Let alone Cynthia Bailey!
Kenya agrees. “I was so proud to see Cynthia’s Ebony magazine spread celebrating a woman’s beauty that is nearly 50 years old. It’s unnerving to hear her tasteful and elegant spread be compared to an Instagram ‘THOT’ spread, an acronym meaning ‘those hos over there.’ There are also constant jabs about age (‘mean old lady’ etc.) from people who cannot even spell acronym.”
“Cynthia is a self made, successful model who has appeared on countless magazine covers and respectable features. In my honest opinion, Cynthia is the most beautiful of all the cast. I respect and admire her legacy as a woman. I can’t say the same for those whose business lies between their legs and not their heads.”
