Our condolences go out to Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss, who just lost Todd’s mother Sharon to a stroke. Todd’s mother passed away suddenly this afternoon after suffering a stroke yesterday and being rushed to a nearby hospital.
Todd was in Atlanta when he got the phone call that his mother had fallen. Upon her discovery was rushed to the hospital.

Todd came immediately to his mother’s side, but by the time he arrived she was unconscious. Sharon then lapsed into a coma late last night before succumbing today. Meanwhile Kandi was in Los Angeles when she learned of her mother-in-law’s condition, reports the Daily Mail.
Sharon appeared on Kandi and Todd’s wedding special Kandi’s Wedding. She raised Todd as a single-mother after his father passed away when he was just 3-years-old. Despite Sharon’s issues with Mama Joyce, Kandi had a close relationship with Sharon, whom she described as a “great mother-in-law.”
Todd confirmed his mother’s passing on instagram. “Today I lost my partner, my ride or die, my best friend! I don’t know what to do? I’m lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She’s in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!”
