Teresa Giudice is a victim yet again!! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is suing her bankruptcy lawyer for malpractice and is demanding $5 million dollars in damages.
Teresa claims that her bankruptcy lawyer flubbed their paperwork and failed to disclose things on the documentation. In the suit Teresa says that it was his failure to include important things like rental income, other bank accounts, etc and that’s the reason the investigation got triggered.
From Page Six: The lawsuit says, “Kridel failed to perform a reasonable investigation concerning the petition, schedules and statement of financial affairs.” And his “failure to exercise that degree of reasonable knowledge and skill that lawyers of ordinary ability and skill possess” caused her lost income, legal fees, botched business deals and public ridicule.”
Did he also falsify her W-2s and commit mortgage fraud? Hmmm.. Sorry, Tre, even if your lawyer left out some info on the bankruptcy paperwork, you STILL BROKE THE LAW! And obviously didn’t look over your forms before allowing the lawyer to file it!
I guess they’re getting desperate and that $13 million has to come from somewhere, right? So why not sue all the lawyers?! They certainly waited a long time to file this suit considering how many years ago the bankruptcy was filed!
