It’s been rumored for a while that NeNe Leakes will be getting her on talk show and today she confided the rumors are true!
While she didn’t land the gig on Fashion Police, NeNe revealed that she’ll instead be hosting an online talk show called “Fab Gab.” The show will be featured on NeNe’s website – she owns her own production company! – and will air episodes of her interviewing celebrities, talking about gossip, and in general anything going on in her life, I presume.
As NeNe continues to move away from Real Hosuewives Of Atlanta and build her own brand (including a spinoff), she is now also branching out into the talk show route! “You can see my exclusive fun, exciting, off the cuff, raw interviews with Celebs At Neneleakesofficial.com,” she revealed.

NeNe’s first guest was Whoopi Goldberg (you can watch the first show below), whom she interviewed while co-hosting The View. The 5-minute-show took place in Whoopi’s dressing room of The View where NeNe perused Whoopi’s shoe closet and walked away with a gifted pair of heels. NeNe and Whoopi discussed how they prefer to buy their own goods instead of relying on gifted products “I don’t want to get caught up in all that,” NeNe quipped. They discussed Whoopi’s love of “unique shoes” and her granddaughters.
NeNe’s first episode was a little rough around the edges and on-the-fly, but I think NeNe has good energy and things will probably improve as she gets a format down and becomes more comfortable with the interviewing process. NeNe recently told ET she imagines working on a show like The View is probably “very similar to working on the Housewives.”
“I would love to get in there and chomp it up with those girls,” she laughed. In the meantime NeNe is going in her own direction to get her talkshow career started. “NeNe Leakes is not just a reality star – I am a mogul!” she reminded us.
No word on whether or not NeNe’s show will be longer once she gets going, but one thing is for sure NeNe certainly has the gift for superfluous gab. I think she’ll be great at this! I personally think she’s hoping to use this as a test run or audition for getting a gig on a network show. Her moving in that direction has been gossiped about for a year or so now, with it even being suggested that Bravo was going to give her a talk show on their network.
