After getting his reality show canceled Eddie Cibrian has landed a new job, doing what he does best: adultery acting! Brandi Glanville‘s notorious ex-husband will be starring in Parenthood star Monica Potter‘s new sitcom which is “loosely based” on her own life.
The yet untitled project will star Eddie in a role he’s familiar with – ex-husband! The premise of the show is that Monica Potter plays Bridget, an actress with three ex-husbands, each of whom she has a child with, says Variety.

Eddie’s currently unnamed character is her first ex-husband, a professional gambler who is “slightly territorial” about his ex-wife and her new love life. They have daughter named Jessica together. The show also stars Donald Faison and Rory Scovel as the other two exes.
The sitcom is executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, who doesn’t have the best luck producing shows by reality stars. The script will be written by Friends writers Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer and is a Warner Bros. Television production, says The Hollywood Reporter. Not bad for Eddie who couldn’t keep a half-hour shit-com reality show on the air with wife LeAnn Rimes!
And given that Brandi needs his money to buy her $1000 per week in groceries, it’s a good thing old Eddie finally landed a job! After all, soon the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star might have to start paying him child support!
Obviously, of course, an NBC sitcom surely pays better than his current job doing this:
Well, congrats Eddie!
