It’s a Real Housewives Of Orange County accomplishments round-up! First up, Vicki Gunvalson has just been honored with Orange County’s Entrepreneur of The Year Award. All that insurance hawking sure paid off.
Vicki’s “work, work, work!” anthem has turned her Coto Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. into an extremely lucrative enterprise and a pillar of the Orange County business community. Vicki shared that she was given the award “based on my success in the insurance industry,” (not her illustrious Vicki’s Vodka venture?!) and gushed, “Hard work does pay off.”

Of course, right by her side as she accepted her award was affirmation-partner Brooks Ayers, along with Vicki’s son Michael, who also works at Coto. “I was fortunate to have my son and Brooks there to support me,” Vicki shared with Real Mr. Housewife. Cause Vicki and Brooks are “stronger than ever” and her love tank is BURSTING.
I kid, but good for Vicki, who could use some happy news after losing her mother unexpectedly last month.
Vicki revealed that she got involved in the insurance business after her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at 59 and “and in helping pay for the care for him, she realized that she could help others as well as to provide security for her family so this never happens to them.” Vicki also credits her success to “ENERGY” according to her website.
Well, well… sounds like Vicki is a good candidate for next season’s Celebrity Apprentice. Right!? Also a good candidate? Vicki’s co-star, Lizzie Rovsek.
Lizzie shared that her swimwear company Sun Kitten will be the official sponsor of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants which, as we know, are owned by Mr. Donald Trump.
“Guess whose swimwear line is the Official Swimwear sponsor of Miss USA & Miss Teen USA,” Lizzie exclaimed on instagram, along with the above photo. “So excited to finally announce the exciting news that all the contestants will be competing in Sun Kitten. Miss USA will air LIVE on NBC early this summer. LOVED meeting Miss USA & Miss Teen USA today in our first official meeting.”
“It has long been a dream of mine to design the swimwear for the Miss USA pageant. The Miss Universe Organization’s message is incredible and they boast the most magnetic pageants in the world,” Lizzie, a former Miss. Kentucky told Sys.Con Media. “I am proud to be in the Miss USA family and especially honored to have Sun Kitten featured as the official swimwear sponsor.”
This comes on the heel of other impressive accolades for Lizzie’s company – Sun Kitten was in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and worn on model Charlotte McKinney a Carl’s Jr. commercial which aired during the Super Bowl.
So, it sounds like a little friendly competition between Lizzie and Vicki over who could possibly end up on Celebrity Apprentice next season, right?! You know… just throwing that out there!
