Claudia Jordan is calling out the group-therapy session on Real Housewives Of Atlanta as a disaster and the culprit: NeNe Leakes. After NeNe stormed out of therapy, Claudia thinks NeNe owes Dr. Jeff an apology for her rude behavior. Yeah she does, but that will happen right about the time NeNe gets a decent wig.
Claudia also describes NeNe as displaying a pattern of behavior which indicates her low-self esteem and hatred of women; she’s come to this diagnosis based on the fact that NeNe doesn’t like her and was mean to her, as she is all the “new girls.” Interesting perspective…
“Dr. Jeff had his hands full, and I hope he wasn’t too scarred by the horrible treatment that he received when he was only trying to do the job he was asked to do,” Claudia says. “I like how he kept everything pretty fair, and his demeanor was calming.” I think his fear-based response system took over.

Claudia was trying to be on her best behavior and not make therapy all about herself and that one time NeNe called her a whore, you know, like every other conversation Claudia has.
“I was trying my best to bite my tongue and not to debate every time I heard some B.S. and it was tough! But I figured if I’m going to do this, then I’m going to try my very best to ‘do the work,'” Claudia explains. “I have to say that the majority of the ladies practiced extreme restraint and kept their cool, despite insults being hurled their way.” Did I miss those “insults”?
Claudia is impressed that most of her co-stars came with honest intentions of working things out civilly. MOST. “I was proud of how they got their points across without raising their voices or firing back when they were completely within their rights to do so.”
“I wish all of the ladies were there, including Phaedra and Demetria, because I think that could have really been a great opportunity to squash everything once and for all,” Claudia adds.
However, there was one weak link in the process. “I know I am new in this group, but I was shocked at how one person seems to have a completely warped sense of what is actually happening,” Claudia says not mentioning NeNe by name. And she could only wish for more ammunition about the horrible misdeeds of NeNe.
NeNe accused Dr. Jeff of making therapy all about what she did wrong but not focusing on group issues as a whole. She also says she was waiting 2-hours for the other women to show up.
As the new girl Claudia came with a different perspective of the group’s dynamic and she wished those things could have been worked out. “And although Demetria and I are new and don’t have any long standing beefs or emotional attachments with these chicks, I think some of the vets’ behavior towards the new girls shows a pattern that was established long before we arrived, and I think that is important.”
Apparently NeNe hates all women and this attitude is reflected in her treatment of Claudia… “If you are doing the same thing to the new girls that you have no history with, then clearly you have an internal issue with women in general,” describes Claudia. “Well, certain types of women that don’t submit to you and, God forbid, have their own mind… Somehow really gets under your skin.”
“That is a self-esteem issue. And I suspect it’s going to take more than one session of counseling to fix it,” says Dr. Claudia. “But hey, you’ve got to crawl before you walk, and who knows what the future holds. But I think one of us owes Dr. Jeff a very nice bottle of champagne and a huge apology! Keep it cute, boo!”
I think someone also owes RHOA viewers a huge apology – and that is whomever was in charge of casting RHOA this season. I’ll agree with NeNe on one thing – let’s start hiring women who actually LIVE in Atlanta, not women that are moving to ATL because they have nothing else going on in their lives and need a job to extend their dwindling 15-minutes…
