Miracles happened on Real Housewives Of Atlanta! Jesus intervened and managed to fix the epic feud between Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore!
Kenya and Phaedra finally managed to find some resolution to the drama that spurned from Apollo Nida and the case of what may or may not have been an inappropriate relationship (and texting), but definitely featured some inappropriate flirting and some seriously venomous insults on both sides! All in all it was a cesspool of regrettable actions that needed to be cleansed!
Whether or not Kenya and Phaedra will ever be BFF (or even acquaintances), both ladies are relieved to have talked, sincerely opened-up, and feel at peace with what transpired in the Philippines.

“I honestly can’t say whether or not Phaedra can move forward, as I can only speak for myself,” Kenya reflects. “I am glad I sat down with Phaedra, but I am happier for her more than myself. It felt good to let go of the years of pain we each caused the other.”
“Once I sincerely apologized several years ago for whatever part I played in the demise of our friendship, I had hoped she could do the same. Sadly, she was incapable of it at the time,” Kenya describes. “Her agreeing to the private meeting was a sign that she was possibly ready to accept my apologies and take responsibility for her inappropriate reactions to Apollo’s lies and her hateful behavior towards me as well.”
Kenya says she has always maintained an “open heart” (ahemmm… really?) and “compassion for others in difficult times” (again… reaaaaaaalllly?!) and acknowledges that, “we all make mistakes.”
“You can’t live in the past. You cannot hurt people because you are hurting and never try to make amends,” Kenya writes in her blog. “You also can’t cherry pick what parts of the Bible you chose to accept for your convenience. If Phaedra is truly sincere about accepting God’s word, she will do just that.” True, true!!
As for Phaedra, she too is pleased with the results of her conversation with Kenya, but agrees time will tell if they truly can forge ahead with a real relationship.
Phaedra says finally having the “opportunity to express our feelings to each other without being interrupted by anyone else’s unnecessary contributions” led to a “real” conversation where both she and Kenya spoke openly. “This conversation was a long time coming, and we were led to this moment by a force greater than both of us, so I decided to have faith, embrace the moment, and let go.”
Although Phaedra admits it was difficult for her to trust Kenya even in that moment. “It was not easy to let my guard down with someone whom seemed to relish in my hardships and played such a role in bringing conflict to my life,” she acknowledges.
As for what the future holds, Phaedra believes they still have a ways to go to working through the past, but she is optimistic. “Words cannot be unsaid, stories cannot be untold, and old experiences no longer unfold. As I have said before, wounds require air to heal, and I think this conversation was the air.”
“Ultimately, time will tell, but no matter what happens, I have a clear conscience knowing that I truly listened to what Kenya had to say,” Phaedra writes. “Hopefully, Kenya received my expressions as they were intended.”
Phaedra is a master of saying so much without really ever saying anything at all. I, for the selfish sake of myself and other RHOA viewers, truly hope this is the end of the Phaedra/Kenya nonsense. We have beat this stallion booty to death, resurrection, and death again – it is time to MOVE ON.
