Tonight Apollo Nida will re-appear on Real Housewives Of Atlanta as the ominous voice via a collect call from prison. Apollo and Phaedra Parks are possibly getting a divorce, although their sutuation remains undefined, and Phaedra has said to be in contact with her imprisoned husband often. Speaking from FMC-Lexington where he is serving an 8-year sentence, Apollo reveals he still hasn’t had a visit from his sons Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 2, and he is frustrated that Phaedra won’t bring his sons to visit.
“I’ve told her I really need to see them and that I need that support,” Apollo reveals from behind bars in Kentucy. “But it’s still up in the air.”

Insisting he’s a great father, Apollo is exhausted by Phaedra’s excuses and trying to prove he deserves to see his sons. “It’s as if I have to jump through hoops from behind bars,” he expresses to Life & Style. Apollo clarifies he speaks to his sons often by phone, but hasn’t seen them since his dramatic self-surrender in September of last year.
Phaedra has opened up about their often volatile marriage and her fears about Apollo’s demeanor and actions, and has claimed she plans to bring her sons to visit, but is worried about how it will affect them. On a recent episode of WWHL she was very coy about how her divorce is proceeding and stated, “I am still married.” Likely on the advice of her attorney.
Apollo admits his sons are having difficulty coping in his absence, “It makes them sad that Daddy isn’t home with them.” All-in-all a very sad situation, hopefully Phaedra and Apollo can work it out as I think, if not for Apollo, his sons at least deserve to see their father. But again, we’re not privy to the true details of what appears to be a very complicated situation.
Moving on to more light-hearted matters, NeNe Leakes is opening up – cryptically – about her behavior on the upcoming reunion, the first of three-parts beings airing next week! On her blog, NeNe complimented her hair and makeup team for keeping her glam despite the acrimony and credits Phaedra and Porsha Williams for keeping the NayNay at bay when things got heated!
“Yes I was in tears amongst other things but my glam, hubby, manager @aarongray @porsha4real @phaedraparks all held me down that day,” shared NeNe.
Tonight is the season finale of RHOA. Kenya invites the ladies to a taping for her sitcom, Life Twirls On, which features her fantasy wedding. It’s an odd experience to say the least! And Apollo resurfaces with a prison phone call to Peachter (delighted to be inserted into the drama) where he complains about Phaedra and reveals some unsavory details. Additionally Kandi make a startling announcement about her plans and her marriage, and NeNe gears up for the day of her first performance on Broadway!
