Ramona Singer wants it known yes, she did by happenstance accidentally commandeer Bethenny Frankel‘s dress, but it was hardly a designer item worth thousands and it was hardly intentional!
Describing how she ended up with Bethenny’s dress, the Real Housewives Of New York star insists it was actually given to her by a production staffer and she never even wore it on the talk show. “Do these ladies have nothing better to talk about than a dress? Talk about ‘telephone,'” complains Ramona. “I didn’t take the dress, and I never put the dress on, but it was graciously given to me by one of the line producers at the end of co-hosting a segment with Bethenny.”
“The dress was not a Herve Leger seven-figure dress. It was a Halston, a three-figure dress,” Ramona continues. “It did not fall out of my car, but it was in my car that I share with Mario, and I didn’t know where it ended up ’til later (and on my body with Avery in an Instagram shot and cover photo on iPhone. Must say I love that dress.)”

Ramona insists when she learned Bethenny wanted the dress back, she tried – oh she tried – to replace it but alas it was meant to be Ramona’s dress! “When I found out Bethenny needed it back for filming on her already-cancelled talk show, I called up Saks to replace it,” describes Pinot. “Unfortunately they only had a size 10 in stock, and B needed a size 0.” Oh too bad Bethenny – the perils of being a Skinnygirl. Oh well, just wear one your zillion Skinnygirl t-shirts, instead!
Ramona concedes that DressGate is amusing, at least. “Oh well, it makes a good story though, doesn’t it?! Even if it’s at my expense….” Above, is Ramona wearing the infamous dress in the infamous picture with Avery!
Unfortunately Ramona’s issues with Bethenny don’t end there – there are also brunch dramas to contend with. “It was a brunch mess, but I wasn’t going to let it get to me,” Ramona attests. “I just felt bad for Dorinda [Medley] that she needed to leave the brunch I hosted in her honor as soon as everyone got there.”
“Though I must admit Sonja [Morgan] was getting to me. It seems as if she is always repeating herself to me and never listens to me. Has this always been Sonja?!” Ramona wonders. [YES! Has this always been Ramona – YES! New Ramona is obviously seeing things in Sonja that she didn’t like about old Ramona!!!]
Moving on to serious matters, Ramona opened up to Luann de Lesseps about her divorce from Mario and although they had a nice conversation, Ramona is disappointed that Luann tried to be “slithery” by announcing that Mario was on dating sites (I actually don’t agree here, I think it was relevant to the conversation and it didn’t seem like Luann was being shady or trouble-making when she mentioned it.)
“I have not have had Luann at my apartment since she came with Jill years ago. It was the first real conversation I have had with her since I don’t know when,” Ramona writes in her Bravo blog. “I can’t believe, though, when I said if it’s about Mario, I don’t want to hear about it, she still had to bring him up! There still traces of the old Luann there, LOL.”
Ramona also says single girls night at Beautique was really fun and she was happy to be included to “flirt with some of the men” amid the “security of my girlfriends.”
“I was surprised to see Kelly there, as I knew Bethenny was coming…” Ramona comments. “Bethenny handled it well. I don’t know if I would have been so gracious if I was in her shoes.” Oh Ramona – you would have thrown a huge monster fit and probably some pinot.
