I am ready for the trashy goodness that is the Real Housewives of Orange County. Granted I am a little less excited about the return of Tamra Judge, but oh well. The trailer leads me to believe that new housewife Meghan Edmonds snatches the pot stirring spotlight away from Tamra. That could be fun to watch.
That said, it will only be fun (for me) if Tamra is bothered by Meghan, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. <stomps foot> In a recent interview with Real Mr. Housewife, Tamra described Meghan as “one of the coolest girls” she has ever met. <throws wine> Why do these housewives refuse to give me what I want?!?

As for the rest of the interview, Tamra dished on what she has been up to since last season, why she almost didn’t come back to RHOC, and what fans should expect from season ten. HAHAHAHA … almost didn’t come back … HAHAHAHA

Tamra said she’s been focused on being a mom and taking care of her family since last season. “The kids and I were put through the ringer personally and publicly last year,” Tamra added, alluding to her bitter custody battle with Simon Barney. “It’s taken time to heal from all the pain.”
On a happier note, Tamra added, “CUT Fitness is now two years old and things are running smoothly. Now that l spend less time at CUT I have returned to real estate part time working for Keller Williams.”
Tamra went on to explain why she was sooo messy last season. She offered no explanation for seasons 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, but have to take what we can get.
“I was privately going through some major personal stuff… being accused of so many horrible things,” she said. “Personally I was a mess. I look back now and I don’t even know how I made it through season 9. The show was really the last thing on my mind. I think this season will shed some light on what happened last season.”
Tamra claimed she wasn’t sure if she wanted to return to Real Housewives of Orange County, “but times heals everything.” And I imagine Bravo checks are quite therapeutic too.
When asked what fans should expect from season ten, Tamra said, “I think they will see a softer side of me. I become a grandmother and take a spiritual journey in my life that I’m excited to share with everyone. We have a death to a birth and everything in between. The season is very raw with real life issues.”
My gut tells me that Tamra is telling the truth about the upcoming season. The season ten trailer premiered on Sunday, and it doesn’t get much more real than Vicki Gunvalson falling to the floor at the 1:56 mark. I got chills when I realized that was the moment she learned her mother had passed away. In response to the trailer, Vicki tweeted, “It’s the most terrible thing to have to re-live again… especially on Mother’s Day.”
I wanted to blast Bravo for exploiting that deeply personal moment, but on the other hand, it’s refreshing to see some “reality” on reality TV. All of that said, however, I still expect more “trashy goodness” moments than “raw” moments. I mean, this is Bravo we’re talking about.
