Kim Richards didn’t abandon her Mexican Booze Cruise to return to rehab – she just needed to get her stuff out of her rental property because she can’t afford her rent, reportedly!
While Kim has been on her latest bender, Enabler 1 and Enabler 2 (that would be Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards) cut her off financially, and therefore she can no longer afford her rental property in the Valley! Ah, yes, The Valley – for all Brandi Glanville‘s mocking it, it’s her friend KimKillah who resides there, not Lisa Vanderpump.

Apparently, while she was hiding out in Mexico, Kim got wind that she needed to vacate her property ASAP so she raced home to box up her stuff – including Kingsley? And his kage? Realizing how financially destitute she is and desperate for a last-ditch effort to hang onto her Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills job (plus stay out of jail) Kim returned to rehab where she’ll stay for another 30 – 60 days. Meanwhile Kim’s stuff is in storage.
Despite Kim’s efforts though, credible sources have reported that she has been fired from RHOBH because Bravo is no longer willing to put up with her shenanigans. Which means she really has no place to go and no way of affording it – rumors have circled for years that the network was helping Kim cover her rent. Oh well, maybe Kim can move in with Monty considering that she’s his caregiver and all…
TMZ reports that when Kim escapes from rehab she’ll be renting a condo – or at least something smaller – on LA’s west side, but she won’t be residing with Kathy.
Speaking of Kathy, some reports are speculating that she’ll be replacing Kim on RHOBH in order to continue the sister-on-sister drama of the show.
Kyle, along with both Lisas and Eileen are definitely returning, with Brandi and Yolanda Foster in question, and Kim out. ExtraTV shares that producers have been trying to recruit Kathy for years but she wasn’t interested … now things have changed. “RHOBH execs initially wanted Kathy for the show years ago, but she passed, and she ended up recommending her sisters, who were clamoring to do it,” says an insider.
Bravo is looking to keep the show about wealthy, fabulous, and famously connected women who all know each other and run in the same circles. You know, like the Housewives days of yore. “They’ve wanted to switch things up by trading the sisters for their much more famous sister,” the source elaborates. Apparently Kathy is undecided and was told by producers not to reveal her decision to the other women until filming begins. Oh, the element of surprise – Kathy does magic now!
Kathy addressed the rumor on twitter, and seemed to deny that she was joining the show.
