The Basketball Wives LA star was asked by TMZ if she would ever consider dating another athlete and Draya responded that she still is dating one! “I’m not finished with the same athlete that I’ve been dealing with,” she teased.
“I love him,” Draya added. “I love Orlando.” She indicated that they are trying to work things out and explained, “We’re just keeping it private.”
Draya and Orlando’s relationship and split will be featured as a storyline for BBWLA season 4, although rumors have swirled that Orlando disliked Draya’s participation in the show beause it presented a negative portrayal of her.
Additionally sources said the Dallas Cowboys were less than enthralled by Orlando being a part the trashy reality show. Draya, however, recently told Jet Magazine that she had no regrets about appearing on reality TV because of the amazing opportunities it presented to promote her brand and share her story, however she feels there’s a huge misconception that she views herself as a victim.
Draya also said she’s uncertain if she’ll continue with the show following this season, where she, again, had major issues with her castmates and allegedly threatened to quit mid-filming. When filming isn’t in session Draya says she doesn’t get involved in show drama and doesn’t associate with her co-stars.
Draya recently began pursuing an acting career and appeared in the TV movie Will To Love alongside Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Basketball Wives LA season 4 premieres on VH1 July 12.
