NeNe Leakes is following in Kandi Burruss‘ footsteps and opening her own clothing store!
Inspired by the success of her clothing and t-shirt lines, plus recent a pop up store selling items from her own closet, the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is going into the retail business!

Interestingly, NeNe, whose celebrity life is increasingly taking her out of Atlanta, was spotted scouting locations in Atlantic City in a recently gentrified oceanfront shopping center called The Playground. Is NeNe auditioning for a role as an extra on Real Housewives Of New Jersey? She can compete with Kim D for most dramatic retail location ever!
TMZ says NeNe hasn’t settled on Atlantic City just yet, however, she’s also scouting locations in major fashion cities like NYC, LA, and, of course, in Georgia, but she’s still in the early stages of designing and planning so no deals have been finalized. Of course NeNe just moved into a mansion in Georgia, so perhaps she will stay close to home – or better yet run her store out of her garage.

One thing is decided though, what NeNe will be selling other than her dignity: herself, or her clothing line rather. NeNe plans to hawk several brands as well as, The NeNe Leakes Collection, which is heavily featured on HSN as a bestseller. And she possibly plans to start another collection, NeNe by NeNe Leakes.
No word on whether or not RHOA has started filming season 8 yet, but this sounds like a great storyline! NeNe also owns a franchise of the Famous Famiglia eatery.
I can only imagine what NeNe will call her boutique… How about “Ego by NeNe Leakes”?
