After tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of New York aired, Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps headed over to the clubhouse for a visit with Andy on Watch What Happens Live. The ladies dished on everything from their co-stars to their relationship statuses and more. AND The Countess debuted her new song “Girl Code,” which she sang with her daughter at the end of the show! And Dorinda Medley showed up to cheer her on.
A viewer asks Sonja why she wouldn’t listen to what Bethenny has to say? “I know this group of girls really well and I heard them last season saying I wasn’t focused on my businesses and I was all over the place and now we see I have a collection, I do have a house of fashion, I have jewelry, I have swimwear, I have evening gowns, sportswear. And then they were saying that I was going to lose my house and we see I’m still living in my house. So, you know what I feel about these comments? Exactly the same way. I have professionals who take care of me and they’re not professionals (her co-stars). And just because Bethenny’s just coming back to the group and she’s hearing what the girls are saying after a weekend that went off the rails in Atlantic City, I think it’s a little premature.”
Does Sonja feel the other women have a legitimate reason to be concerned about her drinking and partying? “I don’t think they’re concerned at all. I’m very intuitive an I think they’re bringing attention to themselves by bringing it up and I think that in my ‘hard partying group’ they really shouldn’t be throwing stones.”
Sonja reveals that she and Dominic broke up and she’s now dating a guy who could be a “contender.” AND he’s over 40!
Luann on her current relationship status with Carole Radziwill: “We say hello when we see each other, but we’re basically not as close as we used to be.”
Luann shares that her song Girl Code is about a few of the Housewives and we’ll figure it out a little more when the “don’t be uncool” scene comes up in a future episode.
Who is the Swami Priest and what does she do for Sonja? “she’s a friend of mine and she can perform marriages and she teaches yoga, so I call her the yogi priestess.”
What’s the status of Luann and Jacques? “He was at my birthday party. We’re really good friends, so we’re tight, and we see each other because have a lot of affection for each other.”
Is Sonja ever embarrassed when she sees the episodes where she’s a little “shickered” (tipsy)? “I’d say I’m embarrassed every episode. I get the disk a week before and I do not watch it until the night before. I can’t deal, I’m very sensitive and I think the girls pick on me a little bit.”
