Well, well – look who finally put his big boy underoos on and popped the question! Tom Schwartz has finally caved to Katie Maloney‘s demands and proposed to his girlfriend of a zillion years. And no, there were no rings on strings involved, just rings that came with strings called long-term commitment.
Y’all know what this means: Another Vanderpump Rules wedding! Katie announced the news on instagram with a photo of her wearing the engagement ring while Tom 2 nuzzled her neck (yay for finally making physical contact!). “So I said… YES!!!!” she gushed.

It seems the event was definitely filmed for season 4, because all of Katie and Tom 2′s co-stars were in on the action and tweeting about it.
Katie’s engagement ring was designed by a friend. “I’m beyond happy. One of my and @twschwa closest friends designed this gorgeous ring and that makes it all the more special! Here is a close up and details my ring!”
Tom 2 looks pretty dang satisfied with himself that he finally became a real man. So does this mean he’s achieved his goal of becoming a doctor and having a real career (I KID! Read last season’s recaps, y’all). Tom proposed to Katie on his birthday and it seems like it was a complete surprise for her.

“The twinkle in my tooth says it all! She said YES! (Reluctantly) shout out to @kylechandesign for designing the perfect ring,” Tom boasted on instagram.
No further details of the proposal just yet, but I think it’s safe to say it will DEFINITELY be a big part of season 4!

Scheana Marie also shared this update. “BFFs with rings!”
And clearly Kristen Doute has made amends with the group because she announced that she was involved in the proposal. “Ahh bubbas!! I love you both so much! Congrats!!! I played Cupid!!” she tweeted.

“Most def happened…So amazing! So awesome! So,SO many Great things!! #TomandKatie #GreatBirthday #pumprules,” gushed Tom Sandoval about his bestie becoming engaged. So does that mean Tom 1 and Ariana Madix are next?
Even Jax Taylor, who once spread cheating rumors about the couple, got in on the happiness tweeting, “She said yes… and I witnessed the whole thing congrats @twschwa @musickillskate you both deserve all the happiness in the world.”
Well I like seeing some love amid the war of Vanderpump Rules – congrats Katie and Tom 2! However, I’m sure Stassi Schroeder is experiencing some sour grapes...
