Professional movers Jim and Meghan Edmonds have finally put down roots. Meghan will no longer have to live with the shadowy reminders of Jim’s previous marriages, perched on a sofa he chose with one of his exes because the former MLB player and his third wife just purchased their very own Newport Beach mansion.
After months of Meghan making it her job to peruse the MLS, she and Jim plonked down $2.78 million for a six-bedroom mcmansion in the Newport Heights neighborhood of Newport Beach. Jim and Meghan sold the home they were seen moving from on Real Housewives Of Orange County for $6.775 million, so Jimmy made quite a profit in his downsizing.

Jim and Meghan’s new place is a 5,077 square foot “Tuscan-inspired” spread with marble floors, sunken living room, wrought-iron finishes, a kitchen with two islands, his and hers closets (naturally since it would appear Jim can’t stand to be near hers), and a master suite with fireplace. It also has the requisite three-car garage.
And no, Tamra Judge was not their real estate agent, reports the LA Times. You can see photos of the new spread here. It’s Kinda boring and generic looking to me.
Moving on to other Meghan biz – it seems she’s Jimmy’s third wife and he’s her second husband! Once, a very long time ago, the preternaturally immature HashtagCoolStepmom was married to one Brad McDill. The exes met at University of Mississippi (Yes, Meghan apparently not only attended but graduated from college) and wed in 2007.
Divorce documents reveal they separated in October 2011 citing irreconcilable differences. A friend of Meghan’s complains to Radar Online that Meghan is a hypocrite who loves to slam Jim’s exes and others for their failed marriages, but has no plans to mention her own first marriage on RHOC, nor does she like discussing it!
The friend doesn’t specify why the marriage failed, but alludes that Meghan was a ball-busting bitch who never bit her tongue, and caused Brad to flee. Hey – maybe that’s why she’s always groveling to Jimmy?
When Meghan and Brad divorced they mostly split their assets – which totaled 2 cars, monies from a joint checking account and the sale of their home which was valued at $225k. Her ex scored the money from his personal checking account which included a work bonus from his employer. Dang – hopefully Meghan walks away with a bit more in her second divorce… if it shall come to pass that Jimmy isn’t her soulmate after all.
Meghan met Jim in 2014 and married him a hot minute later. The very good friend everyone should hope to have cautions Meghan that she should treat Jim a little more delicately and be more “diplomatic when talking with her husband, if not she could soon become his fourth ex-wife.” Nice – that friends a keeper! Or possibly she’s just a made-for-TV-friend found on RHOC.
