We have a Real Housewives of Orange County newsflash for you on this Friday afternoon: Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers are not engaged.
Rumors were flying this morning, suggesting that Vicki and Brooks were engaged and crediting his cancer diagnosis as the catalyst for taking their relationship to the next level. But according to Vicki, we shouldn’t be waiting by the mailbox for a wedding invitation anytime soon! She released a statement via her rep this afternoon, denying the reports.
“Contrary to this morning’s media reports I am NOT engaged nor planning to get married at this time. Brooks’ cancer diagnosis has nothing to do with the status of our relationship. It saddens me that media outlets like The Inquistr will publish such blatant lies to attract more visitors to their website. I have always been very honest and forth coming on the show, and with my fans ,and if something this important were true you would be the first to know.”
So, there ya have it, fans. Vicki will not be Mrs. Ayers anytime soon, much to Briana’s relief!
