Stupid is as stupid does! Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor was arrested this weekend in Hawaii on felony theft charges for stealing sunglasses. Seriously, sunglasses. It looks like Jax needed a raise in his Vanderpump Rules salary or needs to start booking some extra modeling gigs!
Jax and the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast have been in Hawaii for the past week, filming for the upcoming season. Jax reportedly shoplifted a super pricey pair of sunglasses (more than $300 to qualify as a felony theft) from a specialty store and then tried to head back to his hotel, where he was promptly arrested. Dana Wilkey wants her shades back, Jax!
TMZ reports that Jax was still in jail with “no immediate prospect of getting out.” However, Jax was back to Tweeting this morning. Instead of saying a word about his arrest, he Tweeted “Now off to work off all these margaritas from Hawaii, my trainer is not gonna be happy.” Perhaps Jax had this scheduled to Tweet out this morning, not thinking he’d be in jail instead of on his way home to L.A.
What I want to know is if cameras caught the incident in any form, because then I smell a storyline. A crazy one, but still, I wouldn’t put anything past the reality stars nowadays!
