Lamar Odom is need of our thoughts and prayers tonight. The former NBA star (and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian) was found unconscious this afternoon in a Nevada brothel.
TMZ reports that Lamar has been at the Love Ranch in Pahrump since Saturday, partying it up by himself with the ladies of the ranch. Today they found him unconscious in his VIP room and called 911.
The situation is very serious, according to sources. They told TMZ:
The manager rolled Lamar over on his side and saw “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth. An ambulance took Lamar to Pahrump hospital, where doctors intubated him … an indication he could not breathe on his own.
Lamar, who turns 36 next month, has been struggling, to put it lightly, over the past few years – including losing his basketball career. There was a DUI in 2013, rumors of drug addiction, cheating, and more and he was officially divorced from Khloe this past July.
Lamar also lost two of his very best friends, Jamie Sangouthaiand Bobby Heyward, to drug overdoses less than ONE week apart back in June.
We wish Lamar a full recovery and that he gets some help and support from those close to him. And hopefully his kids (Destiny and Lamar Jr.) won’t lose their father.
Update: Us Weekly claims that Kim, Khloe and Kris are on their way to Vegas to be with him.
Update 2: According to TMZ’s latest update: “Lamar is still alive, but he is breathing with the assistance of machines and remains in critical condition … according to sources close to the situation.”
