Last week on Couples Therapy, Carmen ended the show in tears over someone possibly poking fun at her, and adding tampons near her name on the shopping list. But with most of the couples seeming to be very supportive of Carmen, and one couple being completely clueless, who would do such a thing? No one, well aside from Carmen herself seemed to want answers more than Dr. Jenn this week.
Well don’t worry, because Dr. Jenn and Carmen got the answers they were looking for. And the whole incident definitely taught one person a lesson, but would another cast member finally learn to shut her big mouth? Let’s just say it was another drama filled episode that will keep you anxious to find out what happens next, but you’ve got to come inside to find out what went down tonight.

COUPLES THERAPY RECAP: FOAMING AT THE MOUTH
Whodunnit?
Once Dr. Jenn learned of the whole “tampon” incident, she was none too pleased to think anyone would have intentionally done that to Carmen, nor was she willing to stand for it. First, she decided to grill the ladies who knew about Carmen’s transition, but got nowhere, but were they lying? “I’ll give you a sample of my writing,” a very defensive Janice declared. Guilty? Not so fast – at least Carmen didn’t think she was. But instead of getting a writing sample from anyone, Jenn decided she would talk to Kaylin first, and then move on to the men.
Mystery Solved
After pulling Kaylin aside, because – well, who would want to tell Joe to begin with, Kaylin admitted that she wrote the word “tampons,” but it was not meant as Carmen originally thought. Kaylin simply needed tampons desperately (explains the !!!), and she didn’t have much room left on the paper. Mystery solved, and it turned out to be a great lesson for Carmen, who definitely needs to work on her “jumping to conclusions” skills. Oddly enough, during their group session, Joe seemed to be stunned to learn that Carmen was a transgender. Yep, and in typical Joe fashion, he told Kaylin that he was thinking about sleeping with Carmen (prior to learning that she was once a man). Ugh, is anyone else already sick of Joe and his behavior?
Please Shut Up And Let Him Speak, Already!
Last week, it was Janice’s big mouth that stole the show, but tonight it was Big Ang’s big mouth (love her, but come on and let Neil talk). When asked about her biggest threat to their relationship, Ang insisted that it was Neil. Why? Because all he does is lie. Big Ang went on a tirade about finding a text at 4 in the morning that perceived as Neil shacking up with a hooker. And every single time Neil tried to explain himself, Ang would just cut him off. Seriously, if she doesn’t shape up, she’s going to lose him for good.
And Dr. Jenn could see Neil’s frustration in being shut down, so she brought him in for a one-on-one session. Neil admitted that he’s definitely depressed and has a problem with lying and drinking, but it seems to stem partially from Ang and how she handles things. Bottom line, he needs to learn how to stand up to her, instead of running away and drinking, while she needs to learn how to be more vulnerable. The poor guy feels like Ang doesn’t even care about him.
Um, What The Heck Just Happened Here?
After a round of a teamwork challenge (which Carmen and Adrian won, by the way), Janice and Kaylin were chilling on the couch, while the rest of the group was outside trying to figure where Joe was (he’d been unseen for hours). And then Dr. Jenn pulled Kaylin aside for a one-on-one chat with her. As it turned out, Joe had a warrant out for his arrest from a domestic violence dispute that he failed to show up in court for. Who knew? Certainly not anyone there, or did Kaylin really know and decide to keep the secret?
Ah, you’ll have to check back in next week for the answer to that question, as well as whether or not Big Ang lets Neil speak for the first time, ha!
