It looks like things are starting to look better and better for Lamar Odom! A week ago, Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in what was later diagnosed as a drug overdose, with doctors saying that his chance of survival was grim. But since that time, Odom came out of his coma and has been breathing on his own, and showing great signs of improvement.
Now, Odom has been discharged from the Vegas hospital that he was in, but he’s not out of the woods just yet. Instead, Odom has been moved to a hospital in L.A. for further rehabilitation, and Khloe Kardashian has been by his side every step of the way, probably getting the best doctors money can buy for the former NBA star.

A few days ago, we learned that Lamar Odom had awoken from his coma, and has been breathing on his own, and it looks like he is continuing to slowly get better. Now, People Magazine revealed that Odom has been discharged from the Nevada hospital and is headed to L.A. where he will continue his recovery and rehabilitation.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that Lamar is out of danger by any means. Previous reports claim that the former NBA star may have suffered multiple strokes, but because he did not completely lose oxygen during the incident, he may not suffer as much brain damage as originally thought. Either way, he still has a long road ahead of him.
“He’s responsive, but there are so many things that could go wrong right now, and the doctors have still been guarded. Khloe has been praying a lot, both to herself and out loud to Lamar. She wants him to know that she’s still on his side, and that everyone is praying for him,” a source told People. Now, I love to bash the Kardashians as much as the next person, but I’ve got to give Khloe kudos for sticking by Odom’s side during this time.
Let’s just hope that Lamar Odom can use this incident and learn from it, when (and if) he fully recovers. Our prayers go out to Odom during his time of need.
