Heather Thomson sure has a lot on her plate, it’s no wonder she decided that it was finally time to walk away from The Real Housewives Of New York. Of course, the recent lawsuit surrounding Heather’s fashion brand, Yummie, may have also played a part in her decision. Recently, it was brought to light that Heather Thomson was suing her brand manager, Eric Rothfeld, claiming he hurt Yummie by not allowing any connection to The Real Housewives Of New York. In fact, in an email obtained by ET, Rothfeld wrote, “Effective immediately, under no circumstances are you to spend any time discussing or working with Heather on Rhony [sic]. No samples should be provided to Heather for Rhony and Rhony is not authorized to film in our offices. Also, there is to be no Company money to be spent for Rhony.”

In the meantime, Heather Thomson and her team are attempting to replace Rothfeld as brand manager, but her days on RHONY are already over. However, Thomson has not made it clear whether or not this had anything to do with her departure, so perhaps it is just coincidental timing.
As for the lawsuit, Heather dished, “It’s an unfortunate distraction. I’m hoping for a positive result in a very short time so I can get back to focusing on what’s important: the business of my ever-expanding Yummie brand,” to ET. A motions hearing is set up for next week in the case.
