We know, now there’s a shocker, huh? 2 weeks after Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, the truth of what really happened to him is coming out. Although, most of us already assumed he had drugs in his system at the time of the incident, it has now been confirmed that Odom definitely had cocaine in his system when he was first tested at the hospital. What’s more is that Odom now faces the possibility of being prosecuted for drug use.
But that is not the only thing that Lamar Odom is facing at the current time. You see, while most of his organs have started to bounce back, it appears that his kidneys have not. In fact, Odom is currently undergoing dialysis for major kidney failure, and here’s another shocker – he needs a kidney transplant. Hmm, wonder how quickly he will get it over the many folks who have been waiting for years…sigh. Can’t say we didn’t see this one coming, now can we? According to the latest report from TMZ, Lamar Odom has indeed tested positive for cocaine, when he was admitted in to the hospital 2 weeks ago. Not really surprising, since he had a drug problem, and he seemed to be spiraling out of control. Now, Odom faces being prosecuted for the drugs, as if he didn’t have enough problems on his plate.
You see, while most of Lamar’s organs have bounced back from the overdose, his kidneys are still failing, and numerous reports claim that he will now need a transplant. However, one source told US Weekly that Lamar’s kidneys aren’t the only thing that doctors are concerned with, but they are waiting to find out the extent of the damage that his brain has suffered.

“He can say a few words. He’s doing a tiny bit better, but he has a very long road back to full recovery — if that,” the insider went said, adding that Lamar will be undergoing many more tests. It’s been noted that Odom has had about a dozen strokes before being rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian, who has vowed to stay by Lamar’s side, may have saved his life. That is, according to Lance Bass. “I give it up to those girls. Love them or hate them, they really stepped up to the plate and saved Lamar’s life. I think we’re really going to see what went down eventually. And I think there’s going to be a lot of people in trouble. … I think when anybody goes through some tragedy like that it’s going to bring you closer, and you could always tell that she was so madly in love with him this whole time, but he had this problem. If he makes it and he comes out of this, he’s going to change a lot of lives out there and save a lot of lives,” Bass dished recently.
While he is entitled to his opinion, we don’t agree that any of the Kardashians “saved” Lamar’s life.
