Kim Zolciak recently let her fans know that her heart surgery was a success (and she made sure to share a hospital selfie, because what ever would we do without it), and now that it is all said and done, Zolciak is ready to open up about her health scare. You see, prior to learning that she had a hole in her heart, Zolciak suffered a mini-stroke, that led doctors to find her heart problem.
Now, Kim Zolciak may be feeling better, but that certainly doesn’t mean she was not scared at the time of her stroke. In fact, Zolciak dished recently that “God put her in the right place” so that she would be able to get to the hospital and recover as she needed. More on what Zolciak had to say after the jump!

Having a mini-stroke has definitely got to be a scary experience – hopefully one that many of us never have to face. And no one knows how scary it be more than Kim Zolciak (well, okay we are sure there are plenty of people, but you get the idea). But luckily for Zolciak, it wasn’t much worse than it could have been, if she was somewhere else at the time.
“I had just been driving home from the airport. I could have had the stroke on the highway. I’m a very spiritual person. God put me in the most perfect position I could have been in to go through this,” Zolciak told People Magazine recently, adding that she was at home with her family at the time.
Kim was bending down to hug her son when she revealed that her entire arm went numb, and she tried to remain calm, thinking it would be over soon. But not everyone realized what was going on. “I’m always joking around with my kids. I do these Jim Carrey impersonations with my face and my daughter Brielle thought I was doing that! She said, ‘Mom, cut it out, you’re not funny,'” the Don’t Be Tardy star said.
That definitely sounds scary, but we sure are glad that Kim is doing much better now.
