It’s no secret that Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss’ friendship has hasn’t been the strongest lately, nor is it a secret that Parks has never been the best of friends with Cynthia Bailey. But recently on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we’ve watched as Phaedra and Kandi attempted to iron out their issues, while Phaedra also made an effort to connect with Cynthia. Does that mean they are all friends?
Not so fast! Phaedra recently dished on both Kandi and Cynthia, and while she would love nothing more than to be able to repair her friendship with Kandi, it’s going to take some time. Hopefully, in the future, Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss will be as close as they once were, but for now, Phaedra feels they are on the right track. For Phaedra, she knows that the past year has been a rough one for their friendship, but she is hopeful they can work through it.

“Communication wasn’t always what it should have been, and I think our friendship took a bit of a beating. I am, however, optimistic that our connection is strong enough to withstand some turbulence and in the end we will be OK. I was a bit confused by the comments made by Kandi’s employee after I left; I am not sure why he had such a thorn in his side about me. He eavesdropped on our conversation, snuck out, and then waited until I left to speak his mind; which is the very definition of a coward. But I trust Kandi will not be influenced by such nonsense,” Parks dished to Bravo recently.
We also recently watched as Parks invited Cynthia Bailey to tea, but many are wondering what her motivation for doing so was. It’s simple – she felt for Cynthia and her situation. “I can empathize. The two of us have never been close, and while there were still some unresolved issues between us, I wanted to try and put that aside and reach out to her. I do not wish ill fate upon anyone, friend or foe, and if I have an opportunity to be supportive of someone who needs a friend, I am going to do what I can,” Parks continued.
However, that doesn’t mean they will be besties anytime soon. In fact, Phaedra is not holding out hope for that, but she admitted that she does feel better after apologizing.
