This just in: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did not name their son John. Or Mark. Or James. But they did apparently consult their Bibles when choosing their new son’s moniker: Saint. (Praise Yeezus?)
Despite rumors that the couple would stick with their trusty pocket compass when choosing their second child’s name, Kim said, “I think it’s so stupid,” in a June interview. “I don’t like South West. North will always be better.”

No word on whether Kim and Kanye decided on their son’s name before his birth, or if it just came to them in a vision! Of her daughter North’s birth, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told People Magazine, “We didn’t name her for like seven days.”
When it came to naming their son, the couple seems to have taken a similar route. Before he was born, Kim shared, “I feel like it [the name] will just come to us.”

Baby Saint West was born just two days ago, but news of his coming was announced hither and yon, nearly breaking the internet! Kim posted on her website that “mother and son are doing well.”
Saint came 20 days early, as he was initially due Dec 25. It’s just all too Christmas-y for words!
