After the famed stiletto kick that escalated the argument between Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams from verbal to physical on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia is showing remorse in her blog. (And doing a little PR for her marriage to Peter Thomas on the side!) Very interesting times we are living in with these ladies, hmmm?
Post-confrontation, Cynthia shares, “I was shell shocked, and honestly could not believe what had just happened. I didn’t know what to do, and I felt lost in the moment. This was my first physical altercation, and before I could process or react, the fight ended as quickly as it had started. An argument is one thing, but to actually get physical with another woman is a disgraceful situation.”

But why did the initial beef between Cynthia and Porsha turn so ugly? Cynthia explains, “I needed to get away from everyone to regroup. Unfortunately that never happened, which frustrated me even more. I was disappointed that I allowed myself to engage in a second argument, as opposed to walking away again.”
“Looking back I ask myself, ‘What could I have done differently to prevent this from happening?,'” continues Cynthia. “I accept full responsibility for my actions in this unfortunate incident. More than anything, I am grateful that neither Porsha nor I was seriously hurt. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson, and I have definitely grown from my mistake. It’s OK to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. Nobody is perfect.”
Perhaps the only silver lining to Cynthia’s “learning experience” was the bonding she was forced to do with husband Peter, who Cynthia admits was “the obvious person to go to for advice, comfort, and support.”

Despite being unsure of the fate of their marriage, Cynthia turned to Peter in her time of need. She blogs, “It wasn’t until I had my conversation with Peter that I realized how much my marital issues had affected me, my everyday life, and my friendships. My frustrations were misdirected.” So, she wanted to kick Peter instead? <side eye>
Whatever the cause, Porsha and Cynthia were able to put their issues behind them in this week’s episode, a shocking move in a franchise that usually loves to milk a confrontation as dry as a dust mop!
Cynthia claims, “I am remorseful. I am thankful that we were able to sit down as women and agree to put this craziness behind us.”
