The countdown is on… only 13 days until Teresa Giudice is set to be released from prison. Teresa will reportedly head home on Wednesday, December 23rd.
This means the Real Housewives of New Jersey star will be home in time to spend Christmas with her family, but once she finds out that Melissa Gorga is hosting Christmas Eve, I would not be surprised if Teresa decides prison is the better option. I kid… about choosing prison, not about Christmas Eve at Casa de Leaky Beaver. Apparently, that is totally happening, and I know cameras will be rolling. #PleaseLetThereBeSprinkleCookies
Melissa recently talked with People about the “blessing” that is Teresa‘s timely release. About hosting Christmas Eve, she said, “It should be a beautiful thing.”

But, believe it or not, Teresa‘s homecoming isn’t all about Melissa. “I get more happy about her children seeing her,” she shared. “Everyone can’t wait for that reunion for them. It’ll be beautiful for her to be actually home with her family.”
Melissa admitted that she has high hopes for post-prison Teresa, “I think it is gonna be a really nice Christmas this year. I just think it’s gonna be a lot of new beginnings, hopefully just a fresh start, especially for Teresa.”
While spending the holiday together will be nice for the Giudice family, the fact that Joe Giudice‘s 41-month prison sentence begins in March will be weighing heavily. “I do not know how anyone prepares,” lamented Melissa. “Spend a lot of time with your family, that’s how you prepare.”
