Jeff Lewis and Vicki Gunvalson both know a little bit about Flipping Out! They’ve also both been on reality TV since Bravo was a channel people were still trying to find in their expanded cable package. So, they know a thing or two about how this game works, and how to work it when the chips are down. This begs the question: Are Andy Cohen’s OG’s joining forces now that Vicki’s future on the Real Housewives of Orange County has come under scrutiny?
RHOC served up an exhausting season of watching Vicki defend her lying sack o’ shizz boyfriend Brooks Ayers over his claims of “fighting cancer” – followed by Vicki claiming she was “duped! duped, I say!” when the truth (at least about Brooks faking his medical documents) came to light. As a result, Vicki has some serious ground to make up with viewers who claim she is also a liar. But can Vicki’s besmirched reputation ever be restored to its former bed-wetting glory?

Although speculative, some fans are wondering if Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis has been called in to (distract? help?) aid Vicki in clawing her way back into reality TV viewers’ hearts. Just this weekend, Vicki posted a picture on Instagram of her with Jeff and his partner Gage Edward after a shared dinner and visit to Briana Culberson’s new OC home.
Vicki wrote, “Thank you#gageedwards and #jefflewis for coming out to see Briana’s new house and my Coto home. Had a great dinner at#5crownsrestaurant with you both. Here’s to a great 2016. Thank you for all your support. Love you both.”

This past Fall, Vicki announced Briana’s move back to the OC as a “blessing from God,” but didn’t specify how or why her daughter was returning to the OC after being stationed in Oklahoma due to her husband’s military posting.
Perhaps the house Briana purchased needs a little renovation, courtesy of (my personal favorite) hot-head, Jeff Lewis? Or perhaps Jeff needs a little housewives crossover to boost his mediocre ratings from last season’s Flipping Out? Or maybe Jeff is just trying to expand his Circle of Crazy! He is, after all, already good friends with Shannon and David Beador, who he’s been pictured with several times and has reportedly worked with in a design capacity in the past.
In another twist, Vicki tweeted the above photo in mid-December, noting, “My house renovation is coming along. Lights on the left have been replaced with new custom lights yesterday down.” Hmmm…do those new chandeliers reek of Jeff Lewis Design or what!?
I admit, as much as I question whether Vicki should be given her orange back next season, a very big part of me would LOVE to see Jeff rip her house to shreds, all the while insulting every granny throw pillow and overstuffed brown couch along the way. Plus, doesn’t Vicki need to de-Brooksify her entire home anyway? I mean, spraying V By Vicki perfume everywhere certainly won’t do the trick. It may be a win-win!
