Luann de Lesseps, her royal Real Housewives of New York City cast member, has got a boyfriend and he appears to be googly-eyed over her. Luann’s latest and quite possibly, greatest conquest, Tom D’Agostino Jr. spoke to People magazine about how nuts he is about his lady love. The couple, who began dating around September of last year, definitely only seem to have eyes for each other and reportedly, he might remain on this ride until the wheels fall off!
Tom tells People, “LuAnn is the new love of my life. She is a beautiful person who is elegant, classy and filled with energy like I am. We have a lot in common.” Tom, who just happens to be a millionaire and president and CEO of Smart Source, a corporate print industry company, is also rumored to be an heir to the long-established East coast supermarket chain, D’Agostino. The businessman is also seemingly much in demand with global obligations that have raked up frequent flyer miles. Tom tells the celeb magazine, how he loves the fact that even though Luann has also spanned the globe, she can shed those cosmopolitan aires and get “down home.”
Luann and Tom were introduced by a friend eight months ago but were dating other people at the time. A couple of months after their meeting, they ran into each other at a Manhattan eatery while coincidentally, they were sans a mate. Upon conversing, the couple knew, there was something special between them. Tom tells People, “She is like an asteroid who has impacted my life.”
The couple seem to enjoy doing the same things, golfing, skiing, tennis, boating and fine dining. Tom is also impressed by how Luann interacts with her throngs of fans and how nice she is to them. “I am a private person and not used to cameras following me everywhere, but Luann handles it with class,” he says. “She is great with her fans. She is a genuinely nice person.”

The couple was recently spotted looking at engagement rings while in Palm Springs over the New Years, so does this mean that Tom will put a ring on it? Well the once engaged bachelor, who also briefly went out with Luann’s co-star Ramona Singer, tells People, “I would only give up being a bachelor if the woman I love is like me,” he says. “And LuAnn is the same type of person.” He adds: “I have met my match, and I want to propose sooner rather than later.”
