Another day, another update about the totally inappropriate throw-down among the cast of Little Women: LA! Yesterday’s reports that Christy McGinity Gibel was hospitalized after suffering two brain contusions, resulting from a “brawl” with cast members, came as a shock to some. Viewers were left to wonder which cast mate(s) were involved in the kerfuffle, which took place at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, CA over the weekend.
But wonder no more! Later yesterday, People Magazine revealed that 4-season cast mate and producer of LWLA, Terra Jole, was the other main party involved. According to a source on the scene, Christy and Terra (among others) went to the bar to whoop it up with a little line dancing, but ultimately “got into a screaming match,” which led to a physical altercation.

The source adds that the heated argument was allegedly sparked by Terra’s accusations that Christy was spreading “rumors and lies about her their costars.”
People reports: “Terra threw her drink at Christy’s face and then the table erupted. The other girls scrambled to get away from the table, as the fight between Terra and Christy escalated to glasses being thrown at each other.”
OK: Has Christy spread rumors about costars before? YES. Has Terra (and hubby Joe Gnoffo, for that matter) started screaming matches with Every.Single.Costar? YES. But given the physical challenges these ladies face, and the fact that Terra is trying to portray herself as a “responsible new mom” these days, I’m a bit surprised they’d let it escalate to a physical level.
Christy’s husband, Todd Gibel, said yesterday that Christy suffered brain injuries resulting in ongoing headaches from the brawl. “She thought this was…a bump on the head,” he shared. “But it’s not showing any signs of going away.”
CHRISTY MCGINITY HOSPITALIZED AFTER BRAWL WITH CAST MATES!
Despite being rushed to urgent care by producers, then checking herself in to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center afterward, some are questioning the seriousness of Christy’s injuries.
The on-site source who witnessed Terra and Christy’s brawl claims that, yes, Terra’s glass did make contact with Christy’s head, but the hit was “not enough for it to be serious.” Hmmm…okay, anonymous bystander! We’ll assume getting slugged on the head with a glass is just a normal event in the course of the day for you. #Ouch!
