It’s been a bad week for Christy McGinity Gibel! Over the weekend the star of Little Women: LA was hit in the head with a glass, courtesy of cast mate Terra Jole, which landed Christy in the hospital with head injuries. The physical altercation, which took place while the ladies were filming season 4 of LWLA has now turned into a police matter, as Christy has since filed a police report against Terra claiming “assault with a deadly weapon.”
In an unrelated event, Christy is also being taken to court over a fender bender that occurred just before Christmas. The driver whose car Christy smashed into is claiming damages in the amount of $3,575.

TMZ reports the driver claiming “Christy was stopped at a red light in the San Fernando Valley just before Xmas when she jumped the gun and tried to make a right, smashing into a Mercedes that had the right of way.” The Mercedes’ bumper was almost ripped off, according to the driver.
Christy, however, claims the accident was not her fault, but the OTHER driver’s! Thankfully, no one was hurt in the crash.

As for the charges against Terra regarding their bar fight, TMZ reveals the police report will be sent to Sheriff in Ventura County who will later determine if anyone should be arrested. Christy apparently filed the charges as soon as she was released from the hospital Tuesday morning, where she had been admitted for two brain contusions, a concussion, and headaches resulting from the brawl.
Terra’s camp has not responded to the charges yet.
With all of the drama surrounding Christy lately, I had to wonder if sh*t was being stirred up in the hopes of ramping up interest for next week’s Season 4 LWLA premiere? But at this point, I think Christy is just finding herself in some bummer situations…which I’m sure she has a significant part to play in!
How these situations affect Christy’s position on future seasons of LWLA – or her physical health, for godssakes! – is anyone’s guess.
