Remember when Stassi Schroeder told the world, “I am the Devil. And don’t you forget it”…? Well, on this week’s Vanderpump Rules, she’s baaaaaaaaaack! The Return of Stassi is poised to shake up frenemy circles at SUR this Monday, but viewers are uncertain about what Stassi’s presence will really mean for cast dynamics. Will Stassi’s head spin around? Will she Jedi-mind-control Jax Taylor into tattooing her name on his forehead? Will she levitate new girl Lala Kent above the sticky tables of SUR, slamming her into the ice machine, Kylo Ren style? (A girl can dream!!!)
Sadly, previews suggest what Stassi really does on the upcoming VPR is a whole lot of whimpering and grovelling, perhaps in an attempt to ingratiate herself to the friends and former boss who she’d formerly cut out of her life. But not everyone is buying what Stassi is selling. Except for Kristen Doute, who claims, “I was really excited,” adding, “I think I was the only one.”

Stassi begins her Comeback Tour on Kristen’s couch. Kristen tells the Daily Dish that she’d reconnected with Stassi over the past year in an attempt to rebuild their friendship “because I knew what it felt like to just be so quarantined.”
When the SUR crew headed to Hawaii, Kristen found herself left all alone in LA. Enter: Stassi! Apparently, Kristen and Stassi’s bonding occurred conveniently on camera at exactly the same time that Scheana Marie and the gang were drinking vodka from tampons on a beach far, far away.
Kristen found herself giving advice to former bestie, encouraging Stassi to show people how much she’s “changed.” Apology Tour 2.0! Kristen says, “She messed up. She really burned some bridges. But I told her just keep on keeping on and really do this for [her] and prove to them that [she’s] not the person that [she was] a year ago.” Mmmmmkay.
New mean girl Scheana is not buying Stassi’s act, sharing that “I felt like she changed and I felt like that was fake.” Valley Girl Translation: Stassi appears to have changed, but truly has not.

Kristen argues, “A lot of people felt like it was a convenient timing, or [Stassi] was kind of preying on my weakness of feeling like I still needed her to forgive me for past mistakes, and it really wasn’t like that at all… I just saw growth in her, like starting to really focus on herself, and not in a selfish way.”
Tom Schwartz said his initial reaction to Stassi returning was “‘Oh hell no.'” But he eventually adjusted to the idea. He tells the Daily Dish, “we didn’t welcome her back with open arms. We had to gauge her and see where she was coming from. I think we’ve come a long way. We’re cool. It’s amicable. We’re kosher.”
So, what does former world’ worst boyfriend, Jax Taylor, think? “Speaking for myself, I’m happy to have her back — even with everything that went on between us. She’s Stassi; everybody’s got a spot for her,” says Jax.
Jax does admit that “At first, everyone was furious” with Stassi infiltrating the group. “People had their ups and downs; there were people that were angry, there were people that were mad, some people were happy. It was a bunch of different emotions.” Ahhh. Thanks for clearing that up!
