Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne knows what it’s like to be the newbie, so she feels for the Real Housewives of Dallas stars as they prepare for their first season on TV. The newest Bravo franchise premieres on April 11th and Erika has some words of wisdom for them.
Dallas newbies LeeAnne Locken and Tiffany Hendra were being interviewed on Dallas radio station 103.7 when Erika called in to share what she’s learned so far being a Real Housewife. “If I can give you both one piece of advice it is to just be yourself in all situations and don’t compromise. You really have to be true to yourself and if you can do that you can walk out with your head held high.”She continued, telling them not to let their co-stars work them up. “I think you have to be patient and you can’t get riled up because they are going to want to rile you up. Whatever you do just make sure you think everything through. Tomorrow is another day, the season is long, what it looks like from week to week changes, and you have to just remember that.”
Erika says that her Beverly Hills castmates warned her about the difference between filming and the final edit. “Even my castmates they told me, they were like, ‘You know, Erika, it’s one thing to shoot the show, it’s another thing when you start watching the show because it becomes a whole ‘nother animal.’ And that’s really truth. So just take it one week at a time. Some weeks you’re gonna win and some weeks you’re not. Just you wait, your life’s about to change.”
