Aside from hearing his name get thrown around in reference to the famous (and semi-famous) women that he has bedded, I really didn’t know much about Calum Best before I started watching the show Famously Single. Yes, I know that his father is a famous soccer player, but that’s all I got.
Watching him on the show, he seems charming and genuine with his desire to be in a relationship and with his interest in fellow cast member Brandi Glanville. I even find myself rooting for these two when I watch the episodes, but apparently Calum is not feeling the same way.

My initial thought isn’t to feel bad for Brandi after reading an article from Page Six about how Calum is supposedly afraid that dating Brandi would ruin his brand. My first reaction is just to laugh and ask, “What brand?” No one in the United States where this show airs has any idea who Calum is or what he does. So to think that he even has a persona to ruin is totally laughable.
My second thought is that I really do feel bad for Brandi because no one deserves this kind of nonsense if it’s true. Some “insiders” told Page Six that he wants his “fans” to think “that he is an eligible bachelor” and that “Calum says being single is part of his brand.” Why he would go on a TV show about wanting to find a relationship if he did not actually want to find a relationship? It makes no sense.
Plus, being with Brandi would actually raise his profile since she is way more famous than he is. What a fool.
Calum posted a meme (below) on Instagram that I’m sure had Brandi fuming and sending him some angry text rants (or at least that’s how I imagine her reacting). And if you look at the rest of his Instagram and see the random “models” he’s taking pics with, you’ll see more ammunition to piss off Brandi (or at least that’s what I’m assuming).
TELL US – DO YOU THINK THAT DATING BRANDI IS BAD FOR CALUM’S BRAND? OR ARE YOU ALSO WONDERING ABOUT THIS “BRAND” THAT’S BEING REFERENCED?
