In all honesty, it’s still a little unclear to me if Jacqueline Laurita left Real Housewives of New Jersey or if she was fired. I have no idea why she would ever leave that show, so I’m going to go with the latter. Nevertheless, it is very obvious why she is back.
Jacqueline and Chris Laurita have explained that they are going through financial troubles during the first few episodes of this season. They even agreed not to give each other Christmas gifts to be fiscally responsible and Chris said that he sold some of their jewelry for money. So this makes me wonder what is going on with the Laurita business ventures.

I never understood the whole blk thing. Why make the water black? I have no gauge on how successful it actually is. We all know how much the Housewives love to hype up their businesses-sometimes when these companies don’t even exist. So how is blk doing?
Jacqueline randomly tweeted an update about blk: “In case you were wondering @blkbeverages continues to grow & is selling nationally and internationally now! #rhonj.” Even so, I really don’t get how much success that indicates, but for their family’s sake, I hope it’s doing well.
And then on the latest RHONJ episode, Chris talked about his latest business idea: popcorn. Yeah, that seems pretty random to me too- weirdly, more so than the opaque water. The popcorn brand is called The Little Kernel and is described as a line of “mini popcorn” with “100 percent pure olive oil” and is “non-GMO, gluten free, and dairy free,.” It’s available in six flavors: naked, truffle sea salt, sweet and salty kettle, pink Himalayan salt, butter, and white cheddar.
Currently, Chris says the popcorn is available in Sprouts Markets, Mariano’s, Roundy’s, Giant, Westside Markets & many specialty stores in NY & NJ.
