The Real Housewives of Atlanta was a totally different show back in the day and big part of why I enjoyed it so much was Sheree Whitfield. I didn’t understand why she had to leave and I really could not fathom why Kim Fields was a season regular last season and Sheree wasn’t. Kim was easily one of the most boring cast members of all time and Sheree is reality TV gold.
I would have been so annoyed if I were Sheree and I had to play second fiddle to the boring beyond words Kim Fields. I get that she was paying her dues, but it made no sense that the same woman who iconically asked “Who gon check me, boo?” was not brought on as a season regular. Thankfully, Sheree will be back this season and she is actually a full time cast member. REJOICE. Now that Sheree is back she seems pretty pumped about it and I do not blame her at all.

I could tell that Sheree would back on Real Housewives of Atlanta since she was regularly spotted filming and hanging out with the other cast members. But it was unclear what Sheree’s status was and after (I feel) she got completely disrespected with that downgrade last season, I had no idea what to expect.
Thankfully, Sheree is back and ready to stir shit up. She posted a photo on Instagram of her filming the opening segment for the show holding a peach – which fans recognize as a symbol that things are officially official: Sheree is a housewife again.

Sheree wrote, “I’ve been reading all of your comments and I am so excited to get the opportunity to share my journey thus far. Thank you to all of you who have welcomed me back and showed me so much love throughout the years! I hope this season you guys are empowered, encouraged, and entertained. It sounds like Sheree is pumped to back on the show and I’m so on board with that. Not only that, but the steady income has to be a welcomed relief for her. Has she finished Chateau Sheree yet? It’s hard to keep track of that anything else when it comes to Sheree Whitfield and her finances. This opportunity definitely came at a good time for my girl.
