Dolores Catania has been pretty ho-hum as a newbie cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey this season. But when Dolores got riled up after Jacqueline Laurita lashed out at her this week, Teresa Giudice says she wasn’t necessarily surprised – not because it’s in Dolores’ nature to do so, but because Jacqueline was involved. And as we have seen, Jacqueline can push almost anyone to their breaking point!
Teresa reviews the calmer moments of the episode first, describing how she’s trying to support her daughters while hubby Joe Giudice is “away.” She reflects, “It was hard to see my daughters in pain and missing their father. I was upset that Joe was gone and couldn’t imagine what they were going through. As you saw, I tried to give them extra love, affection and attention — anything to help make things better for them.”

In an effort to explain How To Solve A Problem Like Milania, Teresa focuses on “how hard Milania tried to help out around the house by doing things Joe used to do. I was proud of her. So were her sisters, who also do a lot to help me while their dad is away.”
In truth, I really do feel for those girls, no matter what circumstances their parents put them all in.
Moving on to her reason for not attending Dolores‘ housewarming party, Teresa explains that she “wanted to be there to help Dolores to celebrate the beautiful job she did redoing her house, but couldn’t because Joe was calling us that night and the girls and I really wanted to talk to him.”
“Dolores made sure to let me know that she understood why I couldn’t be there. She is a good friend. So is Siggy [Flicker]. I liked what she said about how women should be there to lift each other up. She is right,” concludes Teresa.
As for Jacqueline, Teresa says she “was doing the opposite, especially when she showed up at Dolores’s wearing a shirt saying, ‘Namast’ay Away From Me.'” A slogan which Teresa seemed to take quite literally, since she’s the only one smart enough not to attend that confusing and awkward shindig.

“There she goes again, playing the victim, crying and whining about getting ganged up on, then she goes and does something passive aggressive like that,” accuses Teresa. “She loves to stir the pot, that girl. I found it all entertaining. It made me laugh and it just showed me that like others, she needs me to stay relevant.”
When she went HAM on Dolores after not attending ladies night at the gym, Jacqueline really showed her true colors, according to Teresa. “I also thought it was interesting when I saw that Jacqueline got Dolores mad. Dolores is so even-keeled and easy to get along with, so for her to get mad like that…But it goes to show you that I’m not the only one Jacqueline is ticking off.”
Teresa closes her blog with a reminder to “definitely” tune into next week’s finale, which she says “is not to be missed!”
You know, as simple-minded as Teresa can come across, she seems spot on about Jacqueline (and others, to varying degrees) needing her to stay relevant. As much as it pains me to admit, Teresa Giudice is the queen of this dysfunctional hive, and Jacqueline doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo yet that she is just a worker bee.
