Below Deck’s Nico Scholly’s Younger Brother Has Passed Away

In very sad news, Nico Scholly’s younger brother, Tristen, passed away. The Below Deck star shared the tragic news last night on social media.

“My younger brother of 21 is now an angle [sic]. So please pray for my family #chicago #belowdeck #familycomesfirst,” shared Nico at 11:01 last night. Nico, who was in Florida prior to Tristen’s death, hails from Chicago.

Nico shared the above photo of Tristen and him on Instagram earlier yesterday, writing, “My best friend. My other half. My favorite little shit. I hated you quiet often but loved the hell out of u no matter what. My heart is completely broken. This strong an amazing young man will be donating his heart, lungs, and organs to save people’s lives. I’m going to miss you so much Tristen.. your to young to say goodbye so I’ll see u again brother.”

No details surrounding the cause of Tristen’s death have been published, although Nico did post another photo on social media yesterday of his brother, a loved one, and him in the hospital (timeline of actual photo, unknown). Tristen appeared to be on life support in the image.

Nico wrote, “He got a gold medal for ‘Gift of Hope Gold Medallion’. So proud of my little brother! He made me proud tonight and for a lifetime #belowdeck.” 

Our hearts go out to Nico and his family at this time.
