The breakup between Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida is the divorce that will never end. I have never felt so worn out from someone else’s relationship. I also never realized that someone’s divorce status could be so murky. You’re either divorced or you’re not divorced – right? Or at least that is what I naively thought until this breakup began to unravel.
Now, Apollo is contesting the prenuptial agreement from his jail cell.
Phaedra is an attorney, so I’m sure that agreement is iron clad, but then again I never thought a lawyer would be so foolish to slander someone’s reputation the way Phaedra has. So maybe I’ve just been putting way too much stock into Phaedra’s law degree (and character) this whole time.

According to a report from TMZ, Phaedra’s soon-to-be-ex-husband filed documents to void the prenup since it was signed in October 2009, which was before Phaedra joined the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast. As expected, joining the show upped the financial stakes for the former couple.

TMZ obtained documents that Apollo filed saying “their financial situation drastically changed for the better” and obviously Apollo wants that to be taken into consideration so he can get have more money to spend when he’s out of jail. I am so over this divorce so I can’t even imagine how frustrated Apollo and Phaedra are. Still, I am not at all surprised by the shadiness of these divorce proceedings. Pretty much everything is shady when it comes to these two.
